2026-27 OCHC Registration

The Oneida County Hockey Club (OCHC) is a competitive hockey program with teams at the 10U, 12U, 14U and midget levels. New Hartford Youth Hockey and Whitestown Youth Hockey have taken unprecedented steps in working together for the benefit of youth hockey in our area. As a combined program we have the ability to play at the Tier II (register under New Hartford Youth Hockey) or Tier III (register under Whitestown Youth Hockey) level. This flexibility allows us to choose the level of play based on the talent of the kids at each level.

Our goal - to provide competitive and affordable hockey for players in our area without having to join a Tier I hockey association.

Please note that we have updated our registration structure for the 2026-2027 season. To better serve our athletes and ensure transparency regarding ice time, we have established three distinct registration tiers for the year(Travel Full Season, House Full Season, 16U Wrap Season):

Teams: 14U Bansner, 14U Sullivan, 12U Bolos, 12U Zalewski, 10U Mariano, 10U Vennero

Registration Fee: $1,000 registration fee

Raffle Fee: $100 fee per player for raffle tickets. It is the responsibility of the family to sell the raffle tickets. There will be a drawing at the end of the season to determine winners of the raffle. Member retains all proceeds from raffle ticket sales.

Concession Fee: $200 concession fee added to each registration. 

*Upon completion of 10 concession hours, you will receive a $200 refund. There is only ONE concession fee PER family.

Included in registration:

• 2 individual team practices per week*
• 1 home game slot per weekend
• Goalie and powerskating coaching during the season(scheduled by coach)
• Clinic opportunities over break, as scheduled by the association

*There may be times during the season where a shared ice practice is necessary, however we will avoid this as much as possible. Coaches will communicate any change in practices.

Teams: 16U Knaul, 14U House(Coach TBD), 12U Rizzo, 12U Scaramuzzino, 10U Knight, 10U Bizzari, 10U Gagnon

Registration Fee: $800 registration fee

*The association will try to schedule one full ice practice per week for each house team, however this may not always be possible. There may be weeks in which both practices will be on shared ice.

$550 registration fee plus $100 fee for raffle tickets. There is no concession fee for wrap teams

As we prepare for the upcoming 2026-27 season, we want to share an important update regarding our team uniforms.

Our governing body, the New York State Amateur Hockey Association (NYSAHA), has introduced a new rule in their guidebook that changes what our players can wear on the ice.

Why the Change?

While New Hartford Youth Hockey and Whitestown Youth Hockey successfully combined forces to form OCHC, OCHC is not officially recognized as a standalone association by NYSAHA or USA Hockey. Because of this, all of our teams must remain officially registered under either New Hartford or Whitestown.

Per the new NYSAHA rules, players are no longer permitted to wear jerseys that only display the OCHC logo. Instead, uniforms must reflect the official registered association—either the New Hartford Spartans or the Whitestown Wolfpack.

What This Means for You

• Jersey Designs: Your player's jersey will feature either the Spartans or Wolfpack branding, depending on which association their team is registered under.
• Keeping the OCHC Spirit: We are proud of our combined community! NYSAHA has officially approved an OCHC logo to be placed on the back of all jerseys, so our OCHC identity will still be well-represented.
• Ordering Information: Uniform orders will still go through McKie’s Sports. The New Hartford and Whitestown online shops are currently open on their respective websites.
• Team Assignments: Head coaches will notify you regarding which association your team is registered under, and we will also post the full team lists online at a later date.

Please rest assured that this is strictly a administrative uniform change required for tournament and league compliance. The OCHC committee—including board members from both New Hartford and Whitestown—remains fully committed to our shared mission, our players, and the growth of our hockey community.
