2026 Spring League
OCHC will be hosting a Spring Hockey League. The goal of this program is to bring players together from within our organizations, as well as throughout the community, to promote team play.
We will be hosting teams for 8U, 10U, 12U/14U. All teams will be co-ed. Players will be registered for the level they will be playing NEXT season. For example, current 2nd year Squirts(10U) will be registered as Peewees(12U) for Spring League. Crossbar will automatically place your child into the correct level based on their birth year.
Here is the birth year breakdown:
8U- 2018 and younger
10U- 2016/2017
12U- 2014/2015 & 14U-2012/2013(This group will be combined)
Parents who have questions about this should reach out to nhyhregistrar@gmail.com
*We expect to have a high number of mites this year. For that reason, we will be splitting the 8U group into two sessions. Coaches will group the players by skill, with younger players and players who are coming from LTS in one group. We will let you know which group your child has been placed into before the start of spring league*
Due to limited ice availability, we are only able to offer one Squirt (10U) session. For this reason, we are capping the registration at 54 Squirt players.
This league is meant to be fun and keep players on the ice during the spring. 8U-10U levels will play cross-ice games. 12U-14U will play full ice games, however this could change depending on the numbers of participants. There will be no checking.
Spring League will begin on April 6th. Mondays (8U-1), Tuesdays (10U, 12U/14U), Wednesdays (8U-2)
All registered players will be provided with a Spring League jersey to keep.
*Coaches, we need your help!*
If you are a registered coach, we could use your assistance. Each team will need one coach on the bench during spring league games. We will also need someone to "ref" on the ice to monitor the games. Let us know if you're interested by answering the question upon registration or reach out to us by email at nhyhregistrar@gmail.com
